ALL CONTESTANTS MUST BE A RESIDENT OF FAYETTE COUNTY
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JULY 31ST
Welcome to the 2011 Italian Festival Pageant. We are so glad you have decided to be a contestant in this year’s pageant. Each contestant will compete in 2 divisions, depending on age:
Baby Miss (0-23 months), Tiny Miss (2-4) and Little Miss (5-8)
Each contestant in these divisions will compete in beauty and photogenic.
Petite Miss (9-13), Teen Miss (14-18), Mrs , and Nana
Each contestant in these divisions will compete in beauty and an onstage interview, based on an emcee card they fill out the day of the pageant.
Beauty Event- Contestants are asked to wear a party dress, can be fancy or not, but something you’d wear to a dressy event…
Photogenic Event- Bring a 5x7 or 8x10 picture the day of the pageant when you sign in. It may be black and white or color.
Interview Event- Contestants will fill out an emcee card the day of the pageant based on things they enjoy. Possible types of questions would be things they enjoy doing, activities they are involved in, etc. Questions will differ based on age.
AWARDS
**Awards will depend on the number of contestants in each division**
A winner will be chosen in each event. There will also be additional awards chosen by the judges!!
One contestant in each division will be chosen as the OVERALL WINNER with both scores being combined. They will receive a crown, banner, sash, gift, and reign over the Italian Day festivities which will take place the weekend of August 27th.
ADMISSION There will be a $5.00 admission charge everone in the audience. However, each contestant is entitled to have 1 person help them prepare backstage. This person will receive a badge and will be admitted FREE of charge!
**FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THE NIGHT OF THE PAGEANT**
